Opportunity:

GTS Scientific was approached about partnering with a leading allogeneic cell therapy company to help their group add an Executive Director of IPSC Cell Therapy. This position was due to growth from our client collaborating with an external company.

After running the search on their own for 3 months, they reached out to GTS due to our groups history of placing high-level individuals within their organization and because of our expertise in recruiting within the cell and gene therapy industry.

Our Solution:

Once the exclusive agreement was signed by both parties, GTS and the hiring team (the Chief Scientific Officer and the Director of Research) met and discussed all of the qualifications necessary for the position. GTS then came up with a strategy to target top candidates in the industry and what specific companies were going to have the ideal candidates from a technical perspective.

One key to this search is that due to our exclusive agreement, we were able to lead our messaging with our client’s name, which significantly increased our response rate and engagement with candidates. With the hiring market as competitive as it is, leading with the client’s name allowed us to garner interest from candidates who actually wanted to continue being involved in this vertical of cell therapy.

Results:

Within the first three weeks of the search, the GTS team was able to present four qualified candidates to the client, with two of them making the final interview, and leading to one offer extended which was accepting by our candidate.
