Our client is a Global leader in Genomics R&D as well as Cryogenic and Automated Storage solutions. Their organization became a public traded company and was tasked with an aggressive growth plan for their sales and marketing divisions and hiring top talent was of utmost importance. The backgrounds that were needed for both the sales and marketing groups were molecular biology or biology backgrounds in academia who had transitioned to the commercial side of the industry.
Our team has recruited on technical sales and marketing roles requiring a scientific background for several years now, and have a pool of candidates in our Applicant Tracking System specifically from the genomics space. Utilizing our network of candidates as well as actively engaging candidates on LinkedIn and Indeed, we were able to fill 16 different technical sales and marketing roles with our client.
It took an average of 4 candidates submitted per position, 3 of which on average were interviewed. From the average 3 interviews per position, 1 candidate was selected to receive an offer. This kept the amount of time the hiring managers had to spend interviewing at a minimum, due to the quality and fit of the candidates interviewing that they had to choose from.
